Extreme E welcomes Adrian Alli as new Finance Director

Adrian joins Extreme E following a distinguished career to date, where he was most recently at London Irish Rugby Club.

Adrian's impressive portfolio extends beyond his professional career. He is a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Trustees for the Wooden Spoon Charity, where he contributes to the Governance Committee and chairs both the Audit Committee and the Investment Committee. Additionally, he serves as a Non-Executive Director and Trustee for the London Irish Foundation and has previously been a Trustee for children's charity, touraid, and the Premiership Rugby Foundation.

Adrian is also a member of the Bank of England’s Decision Maker Panel, a collaboration between the Bank of England and academics from Nottingham and Stanford universities. His contributions to Premiership Rugby were recognised in 2017 when the company received an award from the London Stock Exchange, being named one of the ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’.

Ali Russell, Managing Director of Extreme E, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Adrian Alli to the Extreme E family. His extensive experience in financial leadership and his commitment to fostering inclusivity make him a perfect fit for our team. We are confident that Adrian will play a key role in driving Extreme E’s growth and ensuring our financial stability as we continue to innovate in the world of sustainable motorsport.”

In keeping with Extreme E’s commitments to equality and diversity, Adrian has also been instrumental in driving inclusivity within sport. He worked with the Equality and Human Rights Commission to deliver the ‘Rugby For All’ programme, which introduced rugby to underrepresented groups and promoted diversity in coaching.

Adrian Alli, Finance Director at Extreme E, added: “I am excited to join Extreme E and bring my experience from the world of rugby to this groundbreaking series. Extreme E’s mission to promote sustainability and equality aligns perfectly with my values, while its evolution to Extreme H marks a really pivotal moment for the championship. I look forward to contributing to its success as part of the team.”
